Pinstripes - Limited Edition Print

One of the joys of photographing the landscape is that, on occasion, you bear witness to some incredible and sometimes unbelievable conditions. I made this image on one of those days. I had spent the day wandering around this particular woodland in anticipation of the snow in the afternoon forecast. When the snow started to drop from the sky, the cloud ceiling dropped into the woods. Visibility was almost zero and the wind picked up. After a couple of hours of heavy snow, daylight was very much in short supply and the clouds started to pass through the scene. And, for about 5 minutes right at the end of the day, the cloud ceiling lifted just enough to allow me to compose this scene and make a single exposure.
